Job Summary
Transfotech Academy is seeking a highly motivated Simulation Engineer with a strong background in computational mechanics, numerical modeling, and engineering software development. This role focuses on developing and implementing simulation-based solutions using programming and engineering principles to solve real-world problems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and programming in Python or MATLAB, and will contribute to both internal projects and technical training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement simulation models for engineering systems using numerical methods
- Design and optimize algorithms for solving Partial Differential Equations (PDEs)
- Build and maintain computational tools using Python, MATLAB, or C/C++
- Work with FEA/CFD tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar platforms
- Analyze simulation results and generate technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software and engineering projects
- Contribute to development of technical training materials and hands-on labs
- Support students and trainees with simulation-based learning modules
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related STEM field
- Strong knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and/or CFD
- Experience with simulation software (ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus, etc.)
- Proficiency in programming (Python, MATLAB, or C/C++)
- Understanding of numerical methods and PDE-based modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) or parallel computing
- Familiarity with machine learning in engineering applications
- Prior teaching, mentoring, or technical training experience
- Experience in research and development environments
